A light graph letter of love: a note to harmony

These are trying times. Loneliness and long-term social separation are creating mental health issues among many populations, specially our elderly.

Work from home, all-day zoom calls, and video socials do not really work for everyone. So here is an idea: going old school. To reset 2020. Maybe reset it to 1970, to when we wrote letters and messages of kindness we could actually touch, smell, and feel in our hands in addition to in our hearts.

And then I discovered this, right under our nose, in the historic and entrepreneurial Kingston: inspirational and creative sisters Pamela Kelly (accomplished photographer) and Darcie Kelly (renowned local writer) are helping people just do that with a unique touch.

You can now send anyone you care for, say, granny, an old friend you have lost touch with, or even a total stranger in a long-term-care home a message of love. Snailmail that is! You pick a theme and provide their name and address and they take care of the rest for you.

When your special person receives their individually-prepared “light graph letter”: they will own some original art with a handwritten note that are sure to make them smile.

Heartfelt thanks to the person who sent me my first LGL and made my “week”. It was so special: my LGL had a professional-quality 5x7 print from the talented photographer Pamela Kelly, an original painting by Pamela Kelly, and four pieces of original art by the Light Graph JR kids (image below*).

And just how wonderful is that? The kids involved will get to create art that others are willing to pay to make others happy! Everybody smiles!

These letters are gifts that keep giving!

Giving to all!

Try them out before they’re fully booked!

For me, this is nothing but spreading your #harmony!

One light graph letter at a time!

*Note: The packages are different in terms of number of art pieces included.
